Will it fit my door?
BlessGuard works on standard inward-opening doors with a strike plate — which covers the vast majority of US hotel, Airbnb, apartment, and dorm doors. It doesn't fit outward-opening doors, sliding doors, or doors with sealed/recessed frames. Check the photos in our fit guide before ordering.
Will it damage the door?
No. It uses the strike plate that's already installed in the frame and touches nothing else. No screws, no adhesive, no marks — important in dorms and rentals.
Is it allowed in hotels?
It's your room for the night, and the lock causes no damage. One honest note: in a genuine emergency, staff would not be able to enter while it's engaged — exactly the point, but worth knowing. Remove it when you leave the room.
Can I take it through airport security?
